All the food was amazing! Don't let the outside fool you!! It is definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant! My fiancee asked for extra cilantro on her steak fajitas and she got it! Very reasonably priced as well! Definitely will be making several visits back! The staff were absolutely so friendly and swift!
Weve been here several times and it never disappoints. Today we had the birra tacos and a chicken taco salad. It was excellent and huge portions.
The best service at any restaurant in town! It was also Taco Tuesday and buy one get one margarita. The server at a table next to us was even acknowledging the toddler and making her smile. He surprised her with an ice cream at some point. So sweet.
Dope spot! Almost seems like a hole in the wall find! The food is amazing and the servers are awesome. The lead server and bartender Stephanie is the best! The food is delicious. I've had nearly the entire menu and nothing here was short of great! The best thing I can add is the place is the real HOME OF THE FAJITA BURRIOTO! if you go this is a must try dish! Carne asada is another that's top tier that were my two favorites and go tos!
Stephanie was awesome!! She was the only waitress and we were a table of 9 and she kept up with EVERYTHING and EVERYONE!! Drinks didn’t go dry food was correct and very good!
Their food is excellent, their service is prompt, friendly, courteous. I love this restaurant's ability to provide the tomale dishes, the grilled chicken taco salad that I always order, and for dessert the best tasting flan ( milk custard ) which even rivals my mother's flan. I rate this restaurant 5 stars for consistently providing the same great tasting food for many years, possibly 8 years, that I've gone to them. I really recommend this restaurant
This was my second time visiting this restaurant . Both times have been excellent. Plenty of room, very clean and staff are all so kind and helpful. I can't say enough about the wonderful food they serve. I have not been disappointed at all. So far, each meal was excellent!!! Some of the best Mexican food I have had!!! Look at the size of the shrimp in the photo. It is a little drive for me, but it is worth the trip. I highly recommend this place and look forward to dining there again.
I found this place by accident when I went shopping in Slidell. I have now eaten there a number of times. After moving from Austin TX I haven't found a really good Mexican restaurant until this one with a similar name (Tres Amigos) to one in Austin. The service was awesome. The tortilla chips were thin and crisp. The salsa was perfect. I order the burrito meal that comes with rice and frijoles each time I dine there. The atmosphere is charming and reminds me of the places that I eat at in Austin, San Marcos, and San Antonio. I believe this is a family run operation. Making even more desirable as they take pride in providing the best dining experience to their customers.
